Well there are a couple of easy solutions that spring to mind. a) teach the girlfriend to play poker. She will probably love it, or b) find a new girlfriend.
...Ok, I suppose you could try... if three friends walk into the bookmakers and place a bet on a race, they could all lose to the bookmaker. If the same three friends go down to the local casino and spend half an hour betting on the roulette, they could again all loose to the house. However, if the same three friends sat down and played poker for a couple of hours, they wouldn't all loose. Somebody always wins, and that somebody is going to be you because you are the best poker player.
