Frankie Dettori once rode 7 straight winners at Ascot. Gary Sobers once hit 6 sixes in an over. However, do you know a poker player who has ever won 6 tournaments on the bounce? Well this is not quite Mick Clark's claim to fame - because he did it again the following year. That's right. 6 in a row, two years running! He follows that up, with the breathtaking stat that he won 30 comps in 2002, but had a bad year in 2003 with only ..29 wins!

Mick is a one-time bookie (makes sense, these fellas know the value of money), but a poker pro for the fat end of 10 year. He learned the basics of poker in one of those "We teach you how to Win at Poker" classes given, well sold by none other than Nick Szeremata.

He plays mainly at Brighton, but usually does the annual pilgrimage to the WSOP. He has recently signed a sponsorship deal with "Big Slick Poker Devils". So look out for him on the European Tour next year.

I have to say I have never heard of anyone laying claim to such a phenomenal record - have you? Write to me ( tikay@blondepoker.com ) In fact, not only wins on the bounce records. Best "Final to Comps" ratio, WORST record, most comps without making the money, may also be worth a mention.
