You've heard the phrase 'Every cloud has a silver lining', but did you know that 'Every silver lining has a silver lining' (I may coin that!) as that's exactly what's happened this week with a certain addition to the blonde team.

Yep, no sooner do we learn that top UK player, Marc 'Mr Cool' Goodwin, has become a shareholder of Blonde Poker, but we are also greeted with news that every so often, the bronzed Brummie will be treating us to a brief insight into the lifestyles of the rich and famous.

We all know that Marc is big pals with Phil Ivey, but what do they get up to?? Only one way to find out, and that's to read Marc's words of wisdom, so keep an eye out as they will be popping on Blonde from time to time.

The first free look through the gold-plated keyhole comes in the form of a blog entry Marc penned just moments before he hit the skies for St Kitts. So, if you're interested to find out how the big boys roll, then make sure you read on as we take a dip into the mind of MrCool...

Sun, Sea & Golf

The following few weeks see me in St Kitts for a bit of poker and a lot of golf, but any thoughts of this being a holiday are quickly dissolved upon receiving instructions from Bruce as to my duties for Littlewoods this week. I have to go on a catamaran for some snorkelling and then off to a private beach for a barbecue with their online qualifiers. He must be having a laugh. I know that they are my sponsors for the week but no one mentioned a day of hard labour! Tongue out

Being out of contract at this present moment means my services are available to the highest/lowest bidder, but they are taking liberties expecting so much of me!! I mean, I even have to fly on a private jet from Antigua to St Kitts, no direct flight available. I remember the days when all I had to do was sell some windows six days a week and evenings, those were the days!

So as to stop me feeling depressed I concentrate on the prospect of some serious golf action with Mr Phil Ivey, Ram and any other player who wishes to join in our little $25k a hole game. I hear Kevin O'Connell has taken up golf (I could do with my own jet) and he may be getting an invite.

Phil brings his own golf coach (Danny) with him and he has improved dramatically over the last few months. In fact, I let him know that he has gone from desperate to hopeless in less than a month - quite impressive.

It is hard to concentrate when things go bad and he starts giving grief to his coach. On one particular green he faced a fast downhill putt and after it was lined up by Danny he was told to hit it very soft as this putt was quick. Phil proceeded to knock it miles past the hole and off the green, much to the amusement of Ram and myself. He turned to his coach and said, "I know you said it was quick but you should have said very, very quick not just very quick!" to which Ram and I agreed, much to the dismay of his poor coach. Laughing

Will keep you all informed of what I'm up to from time to time, although at the moment it's hard work writing in 80 degrees of heat on the beach sipping a Martini watching scantily clad girls playing beach volleyball, but I will try. You lot don’t know how lucky you are back there in the temperate zone.

All the best,

Mr Cool Cool
