Christmas and New Year was a quiet one this year. I was very well behaved with examples to be set for little ones I can actually remember most of the festive season for change!

Not more than two days into 2007, and Dave and I are jetting off to warm sunny continents once again, bikinis and cocktails galore. Cool Hooray! Casting off the woolly scarf and sheepskin coat upon the smooth arrival in Bahamas I realise I have forgotten a very important item, my sunglasses. What a nightmare, that means I will have to go shopping now!

While Dave is slogging away in the tournament he won a seat into with Poker Stars, I am off scuba diving with Mr and Mrs Gibson. This was no ordinary dive though. Along side all the usual pretty fish and coral, we were swimming in the depths of the ocean with SHARKS. Then came the really scary bit, dinnertime! Thankfully the dive master had a box of fish bait handy, which kept the sharks at bay form us divers. Phew!

Later that evening, Dave has busted out the comp, and decided to take some alone time, Nick Gibson is in the satellite, so Anna Gibson and I decide the bar needs propping up a bit. With cocktails to hand we start to get some interest from some young men also at the bar. It was such a picture to see their faces when just as they had plucked up enough courage and were about to make their big move in on us, Jeff Burke swoops in and shatters all their dreams. Poor guys, they left rather shortly after with tails between their legs.

As we move into February life picks up speed again. A visit to Bolton saw the GPT receive a massive turn out with all the big names there and many more. And they were all spoiled with sexy ladies in corsets to massage their backs as they played.

Then it was off to Copenhagen, with fur lined boots and duffle jacket, hats, gloves and scarf’s all packed, expecting to arrive in minus conditions and knee deep snow, I was surprised and disappointed to find the snowy terrain I had readied myself for was nothing but bone dry concrete instead. Ah well, at least the mild weather prevented me from catching chilblains on my toes when I ventured out to the DTD Party at the Lux nightclub in my strappy shoes. I was on the job that night, snapping pictures of all the party animals and the entertaining DTD girls who captured the eyes of all the men in the place by dancing on the bar poles. Had the club closed at normal hours I might have stood a chance of going home reasonably sober, but this is Copenhagen, and there the clubs stay open as long as there is drink to be drunk. Well you can guess I didn’t walk back in a straight line!

Last week I received a call from Sky Poker who are producing a very exciting new poker show and online card room, which I have heard users will be able to play on their TV’s! No need for computers any more. Their set looks amazing, and I’m very excited about seeing it broadcast. So, they called me up to ask if I would be a guest player on their rehearsal show, of course I was delighted to accept. I was thrilled to find a make up artist and wardrobe assistant all provided, what luxury. Unfortunately I was first out of us three guests in the studio and I had to take the Walk of Shame. It was all very amusing, and great fun.

I’m planning a visit to the hairdressers on Monday for a much needed hair cut and colour. I’m a bit bored with my current look and plan to make a few changes to my hairstyle. So look out for the new Rhow.
