Being a jet setter seems to be part and parcel of the poker world. And not that I would change it but the last couple of trips I've made have been dreadful.

It all started with Vienna, KLM and changing in Amsterdam. If they were going to make the flights delayed they could at least have allowed enough time for me to nip out and get a few of those favourite muffins from the Dolphin Cafe! But no, they made the camera man and I just late enough for the tourny to arrive with all the Brits knocked out already and a lovely six hour heads up match.

But even after a stressfull Vienna trip I still had Monte Carlo to look forward to and we were flying with AirFrance this time. Changing in Paris, I thought all would be fine.
Two days after arriving in Monte Carlo they decide to return my raided luggage to me. However I did get to enjoy the shops of the Metropole shopping center and came away with a lovely new dress and pair of shoes. I just wish I could say my bank was as happy with the new purchases as I was!

And that was not the end of my terrible journey, on the flight home they told me I had no seat, and had to pay €700 for a business class seat in order to get home in time to do the edit for the 425 show. Upon arriving in Paris we found our connection plane had left without us due to our plane having a kitkat break on the run way.

I'm trying to be optimistic about flying to Estonia with KLM on Friday with a change in Amsterdam.....

I do have some good news though. Having been invited to play in the Ladies 888 UK Poker Open, blondepoker generously sponsored me to play. I made it to second place, and will be playing in the runners up heat tomorrow. All chance of the diamond ring are out of view but I could still win the entry fee back. Wish me luck!
