How bad was folding here?  My theory was that it's not a made hand, there's a limp, a raise and a call so the changes are some of my outs would be gone, if not most.  Plus, it's really early on and there's no need to commit with no made hand here.

My usual line would be to repop here to 360ish unless my hud stats show the raiser or caller are total rocks in which case the fold is fine. Against unknowns at this level AK is too good to fold.

I flat here normally, if we were a bit shallower i would shove. I am prepared to go broke on just about all a or k high flops.

What are you doing if someone 4-bets you all-in with this line?

I think shove, call and fold are all quite close here. Although fold is certainly the worst of the 3 options

Call>shove>raise>fold

Although shove might be > call at the $10s tbh, because donks will call with AQ, AJ, Ax more often

Instacall at this level. Against better players I agree the 360 raise may be too exploitable but in a $10 game I'm happy it's profitable cos of the range of the reshovers.

you don't give someone that 4 bets much credit at this level?  Even down here, people tend not to 4 bet lightly, calling a shove with not much yes, but not 4 betting, it doesn't happen that often.

Raise is a bit small though, you're going to get two callers and miss the flop most of the time I think.

No the 4 bet doesn't happen much but when it does happen AJ AQ are seen quite often in the games I've played.

Would the players who 4-bet those hands not also cold call the all-in with them?

If I get 2 callers and miss the flop then it's a tough spot yes and I give up if oppo bets hard. Still have plenty of chips left to play with.

I'm sure some would Yes, I don't hate shoving pre just not what I would normally do.
