late reg is 10pm
Thanks
Currently playing live to try to pick up points in local G with the incentive of a freeroll for a GUKPT seat on offer.
Apparently HO says I can't play online whilst I play the tourney...

Today's live sat 294 runners ansd a prize pool of £50,500
Pretty creditable effort that, just shy of the value of the 100 seats....
Will post the 50 qualifiers up tomorrow, but if you do get a seat please holler about it on here first....
211 reloads also. And no tap water if your in a tournament
Just showed Nick this post! His reply "you can have all the tap water u want, we have beautiful tap water FOC for customers - at the bar"
Do i ask the dealer or tournament director to pause the clock?
EDIT: I'm trying not to get too grumpy but this is a terrible decision imo. I understand the bad business side and a million other factors but to make me walk from the tournament area to the bar for a glass of water is really taking the piss and seems really out of touch from the staff. I kind of hoped you'd say that this was a mistake. Fwiw, i only drink tea so it didnt affect me anyway, I was just gobsmacked as was the table. I want to love DTD so much, but it is getting hard, really hard.

Yeah, you have to leave the table - same if you want to go for a slash. You can always go during the break if you don't want to miss a hand.

Just sits wrong that water can't be obtained without leaving the table. Times are hard i guess.

I think it should be provided at the table. For a fee (to pay for the valet service). 50p or £1 a pint?

Ok so I am an unashamed defender of all things Dtd; this decision made me smile. All those tight types now have to maybe pay a couple of quid for bottled water? Or leave the table for 3 minutes. Or heaven forbid wait for a break??

Are you actually being serious?!?!
Why the hell should they bring water to the table for people?
The valets aren't there to make people's lives easy and wait on people hand and foot, they're there to serve food and drinks to paying customers.
I would think it pisses the valets off having to fetch water for people because invariably they won't get a tip. DTD have taken the pressure off them by making it their decision.
Great idea in my opinion and I'm one of those who drinks tap water.

Wouldn't mind a charge of 50p perfect solution imo. Also, wtf is rake for if it doesn't help meet costs for bringing water to the table. I mean the valet is odds on to talk past the table in the next 20 mins, can't she just have it on the tray with the rest of an order. I can't think of another casino where valets refuse to bring water. Most even give tea for free instead of £1.80 or so. If I've paid rake I really don't feel like it is unreasonable to get a glass of water brought to me. I'm not asking for a lot here really. Wonder if it changes during MC week.

Legally water cannot be charged for. Dtd have IMO come up with a good solution; those that aren't willing to enter into the spirit of supporting the best poker club should walk. Everyone else understands. That's my read.
That's walk.....To the bar

Nit.
Most don't provide poker tournaments of the quality that DTD does. In fact, none do.
