Nick Hicks has knocked out David Mundle with 9-9 vs A-J. A nine on the flop helping to whiff away the flush draw. Darren Shallis raised preflop from UTG+1 and Lawrence Gosney made the call in midposition Shallis bet 30k and Gosney moved all-in. Shallis folded what he later revealed to be A-Q. Gosney actually showed A-K. Shallis is on about 75k, Gosney near 200k.

And bless your hearts, Stratton fans - no sooner had I taken a dreadful photo of him than Dave Stratton busted. Looked to be pocket sevens against some sort of paint in Steve Jelinek's hand; a bunch of paint on the board and a sad Stratton putting his coat on.
Jelinek has around 230k.

Just made it home after a very very frustrating day 2 when 83, 72, 83 95 was all i could find
scraped into the cash and then find a hand in the BB - QQ was no good though against the mighty K 4
WP GG
Good luck to Nick hicks who is playing well

Woo Woo, Massive Pot AlertCtrl V Vasileios Kontogiannis moved in on a flop. He was in for around 100k total. Uber-stack Jesper Persson called. Vasileios Kontogiannis: Persson: Turn: River: Vasileios Kontogiannis = OUT Persson = giganto-chip leader, on somewhere around 500k. Finally took a photo where he doesn't look like he's having a stroke: Click to see full-size image. |

Darren Shallis is back up to 140k.
"It wasn't pretty..."
"He fookin' made a fookin' donkey move!" said the familiar voice of Barry Neville. "Ah raise it up wit' Ace-Queen int' small blind and he moved in wit' King Ten and 'it. Ah got 'bout 70k left now."
