He seems pretty good on QT

Ex-military so might fit the bill if the membership wants to attempt to pull some discipline from the rubble of the current lot

Think it was him being interview early this morning on LBC...when one of this young children decided to interrupt him speaking , and the interview was cut short  Smiley

40/1 available in places......just not sure he goes for it in the next couple of years...or sooner!

Pretty terrifying predictions from a leading Brexiteer. If accurate, would Tories have bottle to go through with it?

It’s simply a blind alley to believe that you can “prepare” for no deal or scare the EU by doing so

It's ever clearer that the UK triggered Article 50 too early

Theresa May's decision to begin withdrawal before cabinet disagreements were resolved gave the EU the advantage.

interesting (albeit not unbaised)

Alastair Campbell‏ Verified account @campbellclaret

May refuses to say if Article 50 can be revoked. Cos it can be. And refuses to publish Brexit papers. Because they make clear it should be

another day of Brexit whackamole. Start No Deal plan, to assuage backbench fears/strengthen hand -EU citizens wonder if they should plan too

.. the act of trying to solve one problem, merely causes another problem of similar size to pop up elsewhere

After being asked three times by Iain Dale, PM still can't guarantee rights of 3.2m EU citizens living in the UK if there's no EU deal.

this is unneccessarily cruel isn't it?

For hardline Brexiters, the lure of the cliff edge is irresistible

In thrall to turbo-Thatcherism, they do not care about the damage leaving the EU without a deal will do to the UK economy – or even their own party

Forget planning for no deal. The government isn't really planning for Brexit at all

The British government is simply not in a position to handle life after the EU.

to be fair she's in a no win situation here (and corbyn would be)

Theresa May refuses to say if she would vote for Brexit in fresh poll

"i would vote remain" means she doesn't believe in what she is pushing through

"i would vote leave" goes against the advice of the brexit papers

This is absolutely staggering

As house prices fall and private landlords try to pass on this cost to tenants who face a landscape of increased living costs and increasing unemployment, what does he expect will happen? Sounds like the perfect recipe for widespread civil unrest.

this debate is happening 7 months after the UK triggered Article 50 & 17 months after the country voted for Brexit.
