Big double up ...

Glenn "Nirvana" Henderson gets it in on a 4 5 6 rainbow flop ... all in is 35k ... pot was raised pre and stood at about 12k

Paul Romain says "I have an overpair to that flop, and I am in a world of pain, I think I am ahead" ... eventually he makes the call !!

99 for Romain

88 for Henderson

Turn K

River 8 !!

Glenn binks and takes his stack up to the 80k mark ... Romain is down to 20k !

Any need to ask? I'm sure if he played a pot it would be big news and reported on Smiley

Folded round to Darren Jarvis in the cut-off, who raises it up to 6K, with about 50K behind.

Davide Fasoli on the button shoves all-in for 19.5K total.

The blinds get out of the way, and after a long dwell and as the clock is called, Darren calls.

Darren:
Davide:

is emphatic and Davide doubles up.

Just under 20 minutes left of play today.  Time for some people to tighten up and for others to loosen their belts and try to take advantage.

Jigar Desai ... where do I start ...

He raises pre to 18k, Trevor Pearson shoves.

It's another 15k for Desai to call, and he tanks ... and dwells, then CALLS showing KK !!

Trev has A 7

Flop 3 7 8

Turn Q

River ACE

Trevor doubles and Desai is left with about 8k ... Someone on the rail claimed it was justice for the slowroll, I couldn't possibly comment.

Carl Cook is now sitting on a stack of about 145K.

He won a huge pot against a now departed player who called Carl's pre-flop raise.

The flop of   saw a bet of 6K, which Carl called.

The turn was

Carl was faced with a bet of 10K, which he re-raised all in.  This was quickly called - building the pot to about 80K.

Carl had   and was up against

The river didn't pair the board and Carl collected the hefty pot and another player departs.

I'll find out how many he has.  I think he's still waiting for the right spot.
