Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Carter wins 3 of the first 4 frames....now 6 ahead (13-7) first to 17 looking good Superb stuff, well done. Tighty's Birmingham punt, and Mere' s RL bet will both scoot home too, no doubt about that, once a little adverse variance has been overcome. Blackpool 1 Birmingham 0. Loads of time left though, well over 20 minutes.

Well done Vince, nice little touch. And nope, no arb for me, Keith shouts at me. Thought about it though.
Just Tighty's bet awaiting a late comeback then, and we have had a good night.

In fairness, Birmingham scored the only goal of the game.

Don't we have to back Chelsea to beat Liverpool tomorrow. Liverpool have been rubbish all season. 2.68 on betfair Liverpool have been rubbish all season apart from the the cup competition they won, beating City and Chelsea to do so. Football doesn't follow the rules. Liverpool lift the cup imo.

It's the FA Cup Final. There must be lots of quirky markets that we can exploit. I remember spread betting on the number of passes that Arsenal would complete in their opponent's half in 2005. I know nothing about football and, remarkably, lost a chunk. However, I have complete faith in someone finding something decent for tomorrow. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/fa-cup/chelsea-v-liverpool/specials

I'm not sure how much a ticket costs at this stage but might it be cheaper to drop one in from a Blimp?

Assuming Dider Drogba starts, you can get 13/8 (Boylesports) he scores any time (in 90 mins) of the FA Cup final.
Drogba's scoring record is 7 goals in 9 games at Wembley - he likes Wembley - and all-time 8 goals from 25 against Liverpool (none played at wembley). If my maths is correct that makes him a fanny hair away from being 11/9 to score in the Cup Final. 15/35 strike rate either playing at Wembley or playing Liverpool 0.43 no?
Possible though that Chelsea start with Torres instead of Drogba. Have to wait until teams are announced before we can invest in this one.

I don't think "Let's back Liverpool because they've been crap all season but football is a funny game" is the analysis this thread needs tbh.
Just because it's the FA Cup final doesn't mean we've got to have a bet.
