Gurdeu Millan is certainly running better in recent levels
Unopened he just limped for 300 on the button, both blinds completed/checked
the board of 7-Q-7-K was checked through
On the 7 river the small blind makes a rather inconsequential bet of 300. The big blind shrugs and calls and Gurdeu gives a bigger shrug and overcalls, flips 4-4 and beats Ace high in the small blind and Jack high in the big!

Kara Scott action
Last year's runner up bet 1,000 on a flop of
saw Kara bet 1,000
on the turn, and things got tastier. Rumit checked, Kara bet 2,500 and was check-raised to 6,500
Kara called and Rumit said “so we’re going to play a big pot”.
The
on the river was an action card, Rumit checked (which, as we will see, was a great ploy) and Kara Scott shoved for her last 9,000
Rumit snapped with the nuts
.
With a coquettish smile and a flutter of her eyelids Kara turned over
for a flopped, but busted, flushdraw.
Down to just 2,000 the rail stayed around for what we expected would be the kill. She shoved next hand with K3o and was called by Rumit with AQo. A king high flop doubled her up but with a long way back to get into the game again

Run Good Toby
James Kerrane opened from the cutoff and Toby Lewis reraised to 2,250 on the button. Kerrane made the call and they saw this flop:
. Kerrane led out for 3,500 before Lewis reraised to 9,000. Kerrane shoved and Lewis quickly called.
Kerrane:
Lewis:
Lewis avoided everything and now has 36,000.

Tom McDonald is out
Folded around to Michael Purcil who limps in the SB at 150-300.
Macdonald raises to 1,100 in the big blind and called by Michael.
Flop comes QQ3 with 2 diamonds. Check, bet, check-raise, shove and call in the blink of a blinky thing and on their backs
Purcil turns over Q6o
McDonald 3d7d, the draw misses and he's out

The Camel knocks out Simon Zach
On a board of J-3-8-9-J Zach has pushed his last 10,000 in and Camel makes the call with 10-8 and the read is confirmed when Zach mucks
We in the room here have Keith/The Camel as chip leader still with 85,000
