Jeff Duvall still 45-50,000
Interesting hand
Rana Gurnam raises utg and is called by Mehdi Senjali, Jeff Kimber on the button and Pantelli in the blinds
flop
checked to Snejali who leads, Gurnam calls
turn
Gurnam checks and Senjali asks how much Rana has left. "14,000" comes the reply
Senjali bets 4,000 less than half the pot and is called
river
completing most hands you would think
Gurnam checks and Senjali checks
Senjali says "straight" and reveals
for the rivered gutshot, bet it all the way on the come and then checked the made hand on the river
Gurnam looks in disbelief, and mucks

We're just coming up to a 45 minute break. Not sure why we have a 45 minute break as the players have been served nibbles, fish and chips or lamb rogan josh and a choice of three ice creams and red or white wine through the afternoon, so there is no dinner as such now. All very civilised though.
However a 45 minute break it is. The key table here I am going to watch after the break is Chris Brammer/Ben Jenkins/Keir Ratcliff where Jenkins is a chip leader and a lot of pots are 3 and 4 bet pre. Mainly by these three.
Another lively table has Mahrenholz/Romanello/Clark on.
Elsewhere Kimber is battling assorted Continental Europeans on a third table. Doing well too.
Chip counts will be on their way when I receive them

Hate the "eat at the table" and then have a 45 min break!,... always at the Vic/GUKPT.
I'm sure they could do a buffet in the Restaurant if they do it pre 7pm.

10 Minutes left of the break
from AWOP
There were 4 limpers to Chris Brammers big blind so he made it 2500 to play. He found one caller in Mark Brockwell....
The flop came 6--9--J
Chris fired out 2500, Mark called.
The turn came a three.
Chris fired again, this time 5200, Mark again made the call.
The river came another Jack.
Chris checked his option, Mark quickly bet 10,000.....Chris went into the tank only having 17,000 left himself....
Chris decided to call, Mark says good call!! Chris shows 7-7.
Mark mucks his hand.
Mark is down to 8,000 chips.
Chris is up to nearly 50,000!!

Blinds are 300 - 600 with a running ante of 50.
54 players remaining.
Average stack is 24,400.
First exit after the break is Mark Brockwell
Matteo Fratelli raises, Senhaji calls and Brockwell calls for 2,000 of his 8,000 in the big blind
He stop and goes on
with
, Fratelli calls him with
and holds
