So someone bids 50% at 0.75. Will you honour that if you honour 1.0
must do, there are no specifics in the opening post.
This is the thing Jason (Clarke) - what you've done here is set up an auction with no reserve price, so the current bids should stand.
You can't just decide you don't like the bids and call everything off.
Meh.
Let's not be pedants eh?
It was a shitty original post, I think we can all agree, but don't take the piss out of the bloke.
We aren't. This is the point, there are tonnes of TandCs related to an auction, and normally the first few posts state them and make everything as clear as possible, if you had this brought to you and were asked to arb on whether the bids stood, the bids themselves would even if the thread itself has no leg to stand on!
No poker player is going to sell at < 1.0 is he?
they are if they set up an auction, put no reserve, and get bids sub 1.0.............

Pls don't delete this thread
Everything wrong about staking is on this thread
If you put some effort into it. It will be fine but you clearly haven't and its been a farce
Also I agree with titty you woulda had to accepted the sub 1 bids due to ur laziness

It was a bad OP.
He thought he'd give the auction thing a whirl and obv didn't give it enough thought.
I'm sure he regrets the post now.
But don't rub the fellas nose in it.

Keith, I don't know who this person even is, and I honestly don't care.
I'm just pointing out that it stands because it does. delete the thread and PM people to sort it out is ldo the way to go.

I assume the first bid of less than 1.0 was made purely to point out what a crap OP it was.
The others were just unnecessary piling on imo.

If you list a product on ebay and it doesn't attract the interest/bids you were hoping for you can end the auction at any time and withdraw the item from sale. You are never committed to sell a product if you no longer wish to in any walk of life. I had to do it once when I realised the photos of my item were too far away for people to judge how great the item actually was.
Also whatever happened to the simple 'if you don't like don't buy' mantra that a lot of you guys have trotted out before?

I am of the don't like don't buy ilk, the reasons for which are pretty much stated verbatim in Monda's post.
Lol @ titty tho, defo deserves a nomination for most subtle poster at the next blonde awards.

I didn't respond for multiple days because I was being restrained. This post wound me up the second I saw it. It is quite truly a farce.
This whole if you don't like it don't buy it is a valid phrase, and I chose not to bid, however when someone comes to a public forum and puts a proposal to take other peoples money to help fund them doing a gamble, they should take all and any feedback on the chin.
Obv they and we should also tell Jason he's a pillock.
