What a great photograph that is. It was at Billy Graham's funeral. In that context, looks like genuine comfort/reassurance.

The tariffs proposal has enabled Speaker of the House Paul Ryan to finally rediscover his voice.
Last week: "The Speaker is hoping the President will consider the unintended consequences of this idea and look at other approaches before moving forward."
Today: "We are extremely worried about the consequences of a trade war and are urging the White House to not advance with this plan."
It's gotta be likely that the tariffs don't happen.

New Yorker magazine has a report that Christopher Steele wrote a second memo, which claimed that Trump was going to appoint Mitt Romney as Secretary of State, but Russia objected and he switched to Tillerson. Steele's previous memo was widely derided, but has since slowly been shown to be correct in one aspect after another. Could it be true? If this gets legs, the implications could be far-reaching. http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/376746-russia-says-it-stopped-mitt-romney-from-becoming-secretary-of-state(The original article is quite long-winded.)

I think there's a chance but I'd reckon Trump is lying about the commitment to "denuclearisation"

I don't know how it happened but I'm becoming a fan of Trump. His oppos are so dead set on portraying him as an idiot when he clearly isn't. The harder they scream, shout and stamp their feet the more resolute his supporters become. It's fascinating to watch. The fella is clearly shit hot at business and he's running the country like a commercial enterprise, like a corner shop as dear Maggie Thatcher used to say...I want my money back! Fake news baby! They would've had some kinda chemistry I think.

There doesn't seem to be much to support the idea that he is 'shit hot' at business.
