Absolute bullshit, i don't play poker for my country.
Neither do any of the other winners, but they didnt get a rock song belted out either did they ?
I had already decided if i was to win a bracelet that i didnt want them playing the national anthem
thats part of the argument isn't it ? he didnt request it, it set up as joke by elsewere

This is poker, an individual and totally selfish pursuit. It's not a sport. National anthems are out of place.
agree with this, but if its going to be done, do it properly.

Wow, quite a statement.
What have we got to proud of? let me think, mmmm.
how about,
The NHS
One of the best armed forces in the world
One of the best police forces in the world
Virtually no gun crime
relatively honest politicians
Running Water
constant electricity
the BBC
Our legal system
No death penalty
Extreme tolerance of others
not much i suppose when you look at it

Stu, ive known you for ages and even i find this out of order.
You seem to be just trying to piss everyone off lately and you're achieving it well.
If you see me at DTD this weekend, dont bother talking to me, in fact just fuck off.'

A lot of people make this kind of mindless statement when what they really mean is that we're not in a utopia where everything is perfect - therefore everywhere else must be better.
