ElBlondie;
I was second out of the main event -I liked a flop of A 9 5 which matched my pocket , but couldn't get 'bad girl' pham to drop her two . She called and hit a 7 on the turn. I wasn't good enough to pass my hand, and the vietnamese beauty put me to the sword. Set under set just doesn't work.
Chip counts will follow
Here......

Even then, Thewy was up to his usual tricks......
71 runners left, 156 started 10,000 starting chips, so ave now about 21k plus. (Dave wont give me a calculator.....).
Blinds are 300-600, running ante is 50.
Gary Bush 12k
Xuyen Bad Girl Pham 55k
Jim Reid 4k
Joe Grech 1k
Gus Hansen 9k
Stuart Fox 30k
Devilfish 20k
Padraig Parkinson 12k
Erik 123 40k
Ram Vaswani 18k
Marcel Luske 26k
Bambos 20k
Julian Thew 14k. Julian was all-in with TT v AQ, flop A-K-T, (Julian hit set), turn, J (oppo hit straight), river - Thewy 4 flushed it!
If you want to know how a particular player is getting on, just ask.
Ram & Eric 123 are on same table.
Bad Girl & Bushy are on same table, Bad Girl is running the table.
Stuart Fox, Devilfish & Gus Hansen are on same table.

I wonder what Mr Cool does these days?
When I think about the big names of yesteryear that you never hear of any more, I never see them in an office, but always bricklaying, or on a building site, for some reason. Always boring the pants of the other guys about how good life was etc.
Would love for a what are they doing now thread.

That EPT Copenhagen was the first time I heard of blondepoker - Dave C was handing out cards as a price for listening to the badbeat stories
I think it was the first time I met tikay who used to dye his hair black at that time, I'm told.....

I can see from that 100 PLHE that anon. has stood the test of time better than most of the others.
