it was generally agreed that 4k was fine for the Stud, despite much moaning beforehand, it played completely fine

Hi Tighty,

I played the Stud, and no it didn't play good- the structure was atrocious. I'm am very grateful for the chance to play Stud in a casino, and will be playing again regardless, but the structure wasn't good. If you just took the stud rounds of your HORSEament, it would be much better,. Sharple's suggestion is good too.

Is "traditional payout structure" traditional APAT or traditional DTD payout structure?

This will improve the play in the late stages of this event, especially the final table. The passive play last year was very much down to the fact 4th to 3rd has a 3K pay jump. A standard structure will encourage better play imo.

Whats the cash tour? Is it just a cash game and the chap that cashes out the most at the end of the day gets a medal n that?

We ran a trial at our last event in Brighton with 40 or so runners playin at £0.25-£0.50

People buy in with cash chips, can leave when they like...with one top up if required

after a set amount of time the ten largest stacks across the starting tables move to a final, after another set time the highest stack wins

it was run with a reg fee, non raked, and players paying a last longer up front that the winner scooped

Brian "BAM" Martin won the trial event
