Unlucky Mr T.

Assume I spelt the footballer incorrectly?

Can't believe I got the Wedding Anniversary question wrong.
Changed the answer of the insect question last minute to the wrong choice.
And have asked the Greek word for Fire question to everyone I met this weekend, only 1 correct answer but obvious when you know, my guess was inspired though Wink

Excellent set of Questions Scotty, many thanks again for running.

Anyway, onto the biggest question of the thread.

I've always pronounced your name as NAY-kor, with the emphasis on the first syllable but then I heard Scotty pronounce it na-KOR in the draw.

Which is right?

Its a character from a book that I always read as Nack or  but at a previous Blonde Bash Tank shamed my understanding of English and my Norfolk accent and convinced me it should be "Nay-Kor".

I prefer "Nackor" so expect everyone to go for "Naykor"

Have another Blonde Bash and you can all call me what you want Wink

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Knacker for me.

Yes 10 years on and with 2 young girls "Knackered" is probably by far the most fitting.

Rather glad I let tikay win now, some tough questions in this latest round.
Looking forward to Tighty and Supernova's mini show down.
Well done all!

Good fun eh lass! Very pleasing that two young girlie's like us gave the old granddad and the encyclopedia Britannica a fair old dinkem run for their money.

Congrats to Tighty obv (love him) and although slightly miffed I got the Simpson's question wrong, I stand proud and unashamed that I got the One Direction song wrong.

P.S. Scotty, Music questions should be just that, about music and not One direction. Not one Classical, dance, trance, prog, musicals, etc etc etc included, just a slight irk but I have to give you a  it was brilliant.

Much respect and good luck to the next round. Barstewards  Tongue Kiss

I was more than impressed by your performance against old egg head, it was nail biting stuff.
I did hope you would do it for the girls but very well done all the same!

If we run out of history you will have to wait a few days.
