Good luck with the tourney Kev.

Ian Bradley moves all-in with KJ.
Call from Dave Rose (all-in) with A7.
Flop: 8 A 6
Turn: Q
River - 10! Spiking the straight on the river he doubles up, amid cries of Fish! fish!

So Dave's OUT and wins £375 in his FIRST LIVE TOURNEY.  Congratulations.

just for the record, that wasn't his first live tourney at all. it was his first P4C event. he got misunderstood and realised the value in it so didn't put anyone right. nice guy, spoke to him and his mate (who did me for 20 HU) on the Sunday.

I gave him all my chips and, effectively £200 so no shirt. As I was counting out my pot raise of 21000 which was just over half my stack I regreted it. I thought you and Eugene in the blinds would credit me for a bit more tha 5,5 raising UTG and Shane was raising a lot but not often Re-raising. I'm afraid as I'd been battering my Dwell up since 1pm I didn't consider the call from him unless he had a very big hand. when he called a s fast as he did I thought he must have AA,KK,QQ or AK. Q,J was the hand he liked so much to cut his dwell time from 3 moinutes to 3 seconds. to be fair he was a nice bloke and he realised he'd been very lucky just to final.

Make sure you add some thoughts to the NECS/NECC thread in the General section.
