at first glance it looks a goodun'!!

id say the only let down is the beans, i mean wheres the rest of em?

you should be looking at a bean to mushroom ratio of 15/16:1, i like the amount of mushrooms you've got but it's clearly gone badly wrong on bean amount!

also personally i love the beans on the fried slice, lovely.

these things lose you a couple of points but that aside it seems a very well cooked and rounded fry up...........8.1 thumbs up

Kev, please understand that you must have black pudding. 4/10 for poor black pudding attitude.

exactly my thoughts on seeing this. great effort. could do with a bottle of brown as well though

I'm going to say 8.5/10

Given you are not blessed with scottishness I forgive you the lack of square sausage and haggis slice. However black pudding is a must so one point off for that. Good to see your ketchup is Heinz, but fry up sauce must be HP brown sauce, nothing else will do so another point off. Extra point for not cutting the bread into triangles. 9/10 from me, real good effort though.

Yep - good effort Kev. I wanted to be nasty about it as your critique of my efforts has at times left me close to tears.

Nice eggs, fried bread looks a bit mottled but nevertheless nice, suasage/bacon split just about right and both look well cooked.

Hash browns under-done, get rid of the beans and replace with tomatoes, too much bread.

8/10

the hash browns are undercooked, too little beans

that aside (allowing for lack of black pudding due to fry-up posters dislike of it), very good 8.5/10

back to my soup shake now

The beans have tainted the titchy chopped up mushrooms, have you not learned anything from this thread?!

The eggs however are a tour de force, basted but still looking dippable.

Kev, alot of talent shown there. Sausage & bacon all look great. Eggs & fried slice are a picture

Got to agree no black pudding is the way forward. Beans look as if they are swamping all over the place. Brown HP sauce has been over looked.

I give it 8.5/10.
