Emailed them. They're cancelling Swansea and replacing it with another location to be announced. Still clashes with gukpt blackpool though
Reliable source tells me Bristol Gala although contract not yet signed. They will struggle for floor space but have an additional room (that needs signing off by fire safety officer) - or they will probs clear half of the pitt floor.
Will be happening in November in Bristol. Announcement soon!! Grosvenor deal not yet complete but discussions been going on before that deal announced.
Bristol now officially on UKIPT site:-

Grosvenor shoot themselves in the foot? I suppose it is tough to turn down stars, and they don't want to harm future business from stars?
Still hard to make sense of the clash from their viewpoint.

I've just been reading the schedule for season 3 of the UKIPT and came across the fact they are taking 3% of prizepool as costs for floor staff is this even acceptable?
Link:
http://www.ukipt.com/tournaments/
£700+£70 for all events and then 3% took out of PP, is this even fair?
What is even the point of rake, if £70 isn't already enough.
Quick simple maths:
300 runners in a touney = PP of £210,000, then you take away £6,300 for the extra costs! Not to mention that they have already took £21,000 in rake.
Am I the only one thinking WTF?
Bristol isn't taking the 3%

Just reread confirmation e-mail for Newcastle and seen that it says players should plan to turn up on 5th Sep - with days 1a and b beig on 6th and 7th. Is there any reason for turning up so early??? Seems a bit odd and I don't wanna be wasting days off/mooching around Newcastle for so long...
Hi all,
jjandellis: The UKIPT Newcastle festival starts at 18:00 on the 5th Sept with the £100 + £10 6 max, as such, the PokerStars package includes the night of the 5th for those playing Day 1A/side events. If you are playing Day 1B and do not wish to play any of the side events on the 5th or 6th then there is no need to show up in Newcastle until the morning of the 7th.
ALL - Just FYI, Day 1B for UKIPT Newcastle is proving very popular, if you can only play this day we do advise you register ASAP to avoid disappointment.
The full side event schedule including starting stacks and blind levels is available at:
http://www.ukipt.com/files/schedule/season3/newcastle/UKIPT3_Newcastle_tournament_schedule.pdf
Many thanks,
Jamie

Hi all,
We are expecting a busy week up here in Newcastle with almost 500 players pre-registered.
Space is limited in Aspers and we are nearing capacity, particularly on Day 1B. If you are still looking to buy-in for Day 1B then we recommend you do this via PS or Aspers as soon as possible to avoid disappointment/being an alternate.
Anyone who is already registered for Day 1B but would like to play Day 1A instead please email
ukipt@pokerstars.com
If you have any questions, fire away.
Hope to see you up here,
Jamie
