why is this a cause for celebration when you recommended a bet on them to go down?

It's obviously tongue in cheek. Don't be so dramatic.
Showed up how weak Liverpool are at the back of the midfield. Liverpool will definitely get much better as they get more games. Both teams understandably a bit green around the gills, though, so hard to know what to make of it. Unlucky to get nothing out of the game, IMO.

could always lay the £15 back now and freeroll for £100+
Is it value?
To be fair, think it is fine to be a fan here and still tip up the relegation bet. If you start celebrating on TfT it is different.
I don't know if we can play like that week in week out then we wont go down
question is can we play like that week in week out
I would still say we are good enough to stay up but where the value line lies for us getting relegated I would say its somewhere over 6-1 and under 10-1
the 14-1 for me was still massive which is was proven with the current betfair exchange price

Yoshida was terrible, Davis was a bit meh but overall you have to be happy.
Wanyama was an absolute boss, the boy with the double barrell name was very good as well.
Think you need an out and out striker, I know it was the first game but yous looked suspect uptop.

great performance from the team today despite no points
optimistic for the season ahead
yoshida didn't impress (but wasn't his fault for either goal)
but apart from that things are looking good
give the new players a chance to bed in and we could come out ok this year

totally agree about yoshida but gardos will replace him as soon as he is fit
we still need defensive cover
pelle wont be playing against skirtle and lovern every week 2 of best CB in the EPL
I wont judge him on todays game
koeman has bought him twice before so knows what to expect

is it really only 10 years lol
as per the original recommend and your comments in the bet
I would seriously think about laying £16.50 off on the befair exchange
it would mean tying up £100ish for rest of season but will give us a freeroll on the bets
I do think saints have played the market well and getting koeman in
and keeping a few of the players that was linked away means IMHO the 7.2 available for the lay is worth it
well I am a mug punter so I would be laying it before the price goes up with a good fixture list

potty looks very likely to be going to spurs now, he is talking to levy. with him going its going to be likely the squad is going to get broken up
with lallana and shaw already likely to go add into that lovern schneiderlin and ward-prowse
with intrest also going to be in chambers clyne rodrigeous and rameriez
the saints could easy be losing 6+ of the squad that got them up the table last year
and its going to be hard to attract players of a quailty to a "selling club"
the 2.25 for finishing in bottom half looks a good bet
as does the 15.0 for relegation even 10.0 looks value to me
maybe i am just being a pessimist but i would recommend £10 on both

Betfred would not lay me a penny at 14-1, I was going to put the £25 freebet on
totesport on the other hand

i'd rather not do 2-1 bottom half with the bet to run for 15 months, and have the bit extra on relegation bet ironside if thats ok
I know a lot of money left the club when Cortese left, and some of the £ from the players will be re-invested but we have
a) new manager risk
b) getting new players in of sufficient quality risk
so i reckon 14-1 should shorten as it plays out

Loving the rumour of andros Townsend although spurs want to include him in a deal for Morgan scheiderlin, koeman is saying Morgan isn't going

dramatic fall from grace for Andros. Less than a year ago he was England's best player. Now can't get in the Spurs team. He needs a move I think.
