Well, I've decided that my current lens set up isn't ideal so I thought I'd get the Canon 70-200L f4 IS.  I also have a Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 which is great but 24mm isn't wide enough and 70mm isn't quite long enough so I'm going to sell that and get the Canon 15-85mm IS lens.  Hopefully I'll get most of the money for that from the Sigma sale though otherwise it's really worry about the credit card time Cheesy  Decided to do it soon as I'm off to the States in a couple of weeks and want a good lens combo.

Would it not be cheaper to buy while in the US?  Pretty much everything else is.

Kind of, but I need them for the start of my  trip really and i'd not yet chance for a few days.   Also they're really for work so I'll claim the vat back which makes it pretty comparable price wise Wink

Can any one help . . .

Have recently got a Nokia Lumia 925 phone and it comes with a piece of editing software that allows you to do the below.

Basically you can outline an object in a picture and alter the focus, blur backgrounds etc - any idea of freeware cheap software that could do same/similar on a PC/Laptop?
As you can see on the image above its quite difficult to be precise with your lines on a phone screen.

Can't see the image you posted but some good freeware is http://www.gimp.org/

gimp is effectively a free photoshop. You can easily select a picture and blur a background with that. (Just youtube a couple of bokeh tutorials)

Obviously sunny and an opportunity to take some macro shots of damselflies today, here's a couple from Mill Pond - a pond close to where I live.
