Great event for the casual punters.  Impossible to organise an event better in a non casion location with pay outs into account, use cash for side events from your main event cash just ticking a box all on one form.  Lasted past the min cash level going back with sub 10 bigs.  Wasn't going to bother as the pay jumps barely make it worthwhile the petrol but it was a good friendly table, dealers good and a great location.  Got an extra £70 to cover the diesel.

Great idea to give punters a day out at a big football ground on top of the poker experience.

Got to agree it was a fun tournament. Just got back to Sheffield.

Great to encourage players into tournaments at bottom end of ladder.

Thanks to all who organised.

To everyone who cashed in the GPPT Old Trafford. Well done and cash should be in your partypoker account now. tickets (inc flip and pool tickets) will be paid tomorrow

Please look out for a "TICKET DROP" for some GPPT and DTD players, thousands of tickets into the 7pm Jab $5.50 Contender $22 and Uppercut $109 have been added to accounts, no catch, for you to use during big freeze week

Cash has arrived (Thin)

A quick note, if I may, to bow gracefully to the majesty of Mad Marty. He spent the entire weekend on his feet, organising freerolls, killer pool comps, card games and just about anything else he could. He had such immeasurable, boundless energy throughout the entire time he was there, he put us codgery pokersaurs completely to shame. He did the whole thing with a smile and a wit that seemed inexhaustible, despite most of the time having to organise a dozen poker players to do something (which is one up from herding cats on the difficulty scale).

When I left on Sunday afternoon, he was still on his feet, hustling at the table against Rob.

The man is - and no lesser word can surely do - simply a legend.

Is the $109 ticket available for use in any $109 event on dtd online poker?  Or does it have to be used for a future GP day 1?

Just to clarify re ticket drops and tickets won:

DTD Ticket Drop - for DTD players, mainly Jab tickets with a sprinkling of Contender Tickets and Uppercut tickets. This was done yesterday, and please check your accounts BEFORE you make a claim as approx 50% of claims received in the last 24 hours already had a ticket from the drop. All valid claims will be processed, as per the website within 48 hours. All players will be emailed (regardless of a valid or invalid claim) within 48 hours also.

GPPT Ticket Promo - for all players who payed a LIVE day 1, this was processed today, players have to login to the partypoker software and claim, it tells you what to do on the screen. If you think you have been missed, send me a PM and I wil get one added, but PLEASE check your account first.

GPPT Prizepool Tickets - every player who cashed won a $109 GPPT ticket, these are now paid.

GPPT Flips / Mad Marty Mayhem Tickets - $109 GPPT Ticket, these are also paid.

If you still believe you are missing a ticket, then please PM me and I will sort it, but please allow 24 hours for me to get back to you
