So lots of dates seem to have changed eg
Wpt £500 is now 9-16th Nov and
Main 18th - 23rd as opposed to schedule on DTD website atm of  28/10-3/11 and 4/11-8/11 respectively and the amounts are back in sterling so the seats we have won already at £2200 per seat won are upgraded?

bear with me please. i wanted to post that the satellites are underway but afaik the final schedule (and associated landing page) is yet to go live but the graphic on the first post was put up on social media earlier today. in fact i am going to take it down until i know its correct.

I know some of the comps are including x seats to x event, but lately have seen that 1st place is just not what you expect. Not sure what other people think?

I think the £1m event last year, was £180k to the winner. The monthly is £50k from £300k. I think the WPT opening event was £30k for the winner

I think for 1st place lately, 1st doesn't seem to be the usual prize you would expect.

The WPT500, is £1m, £850k in cash, I would be assuming that 1st would be over £200k, but I am expecting 150-175k, which in my eyes is low for 1st. Do you know what plans are for PP at this early stage Richard?

£2.5 Million Guaranteed partypoker 2015 WPT UK Festival Returns to DTD


It’s the news you’ve all been waiting for, the confirmation that Dusk Till Dawn is hosting the 2015 partypoker WPT UK Festival, and this time it gives players more choice and flexibility.

At least £2.5 million is set to be paid out during the 16-day festival and players from far and wide are expected to descend on the United Kingdom in an attempt to become a WPT champion and become part of the exclusive Champions Club.

Kicking off the 2015 WPT UK festival is the eagerly anticipated WPT500 and its gargantuan £1 million guaranteed prize pool, a huge sum in its own right never mind the fact the tournament only costs £500+£50 to buy into!

As with previous editions of the WPT500, there are several Day 1s – 12 in total – giving you ample opportunity to reach Day 2 and beyond.

Four starting flights take place online at partypoker, with another five hosted at Dusk Till Dawn, and for the first time in WPT history, Aspers Casino in Stratford, London is running three Day 1s in its amazing venue.

The £2,200 buy-in £1 million guaranteed WPT UK Main Event commences on November 3 with the first of two starting flights. Players who bust on Day 1a can re-enter on Day 1b on November 4, but players who are eliminated on Day 1b cannot re-enter, making the final flight a freezeout in the traditional sense.

In addition to the WPT500 and WPT UK Main Event, there are some superb side events to get stuck into, including a live-streamed Super High Roller costing £10,000+£250 to buy into.

Also are there any plans to hold big gtd live sats thu/fri before start of live day 1s at dtd?

What happens to the £2,200 seat that you win if you make it to the top 50 in the £1m GTD WPT500 but cannot play the main event as you're already going to the Battle of Malta/CPT that it clashes with?

Back in August I was told that you would forfeit the £2,200 seat if the £1m GTE is not met in the main event. Does this still apply?

If by a slice of good fortune I happen to win 2 (or more..) WPT500 seats via the mega satelllites can these be kept for future events such as the monthly deepstacks?  I understood that this is normal DTD policy but the cash difference in this case is quite large.

If the player makes Day 2 and does not need future bullets that they have won they will be permitted to use them for future events smile emoticon

I know I am repeating myself, but here we go... Can you ask Simon (or whoever is in charge) are they:


A. Finally gonna publish GTD sats schedule, especially for week starting 26/10/2015? (Spoke probably with most people including Simon as early as about month ago and still nothing)

or


B. Are they gonna do traditional bit of crying if/then GTD hasnt been met about how not supportive poker players are, how they players do not plan anything etc.

When Simon says "in most events its 8 levels" I assume that is for the main WPT2,200 event and most of the £1,000+ side events.  Does anyone know the the number of levels for the WPT500 Day 1s I believe the clock for the WPT500 is 40 minutes abd 8 levels seems a little low?  It would be helpful for travelling players if the number of levels and clock were quoted on the schedule on the WPT mini site in order to determine whether hotel bookings will be required.

Re clocks for the WPT schedule

By chance I clicked on a different link to the WPT micro site and the schedule did show the clock times but not the number of levels.  If you click through from the DTD site you end up on a home page where there is a sub menu with lots of tabs (overview , events etc) simply click on the WPT tab at the top (on the main list DTD, partpoker, GPPT, WPT and UKPC) and a new tab in my browser opended up showing the schedule with the clock times.

I played the 50 seat sat last night alongside playing the online day 1 online. Won a seat and made day 2 online, so can I get cash for the spare 500 seat/use it to contribute to buying into the 2k? Also what's the rules on playing further 500 sats? Can i win more and use say 4x500 seats to buy in to the 2k?

Just noticed a post from Simon 45 minutes ago on facebook, publicising two more scheduled $109 "50 seat" mega sats for tonight and Saturday night.

Im looking for advice regarding a $109 mega sat ticket that I had in my account that for some reason has now turned "inactive".

I have been in contact with Nicola about the matter earlier on today, but since then, communications with her have gone quiet.  The last email I received from Nicola was along the lines of "try logging into your account now, I think they've fixed it".

The issue is still "unfixed" hence my recent post on facebook.

Little bit stumped as what to do next, or who to speak to get this resolved.

Nicola is defintely the correct person. it will have gone quiet because she would be travelling down to london for the Aspers day one tonight

Thanks Tighty,  she's always been really great helping me out in the past and answering all my annoying questions.

I'll just have to sit tight and wait to hear back from her.
