Title: UFC 108 Evans vs. Silva. Post by: creepy_benji on January 02, 2010, 05:54:48 PM Should be a good card, Daley vs. Hazelett has the making of an exciting fight, as does JDS vs. Yvel and Thiago vs. Rashad should decide who has the next shot after Shogun vs. Machida 2.
Anyone putting any bets on? Daley and Yvel being the big KO artists, (Daley 77% KO percentage and Yvel 86%) I thought backing both for winning the first round could be a nice bet (Yvel 8-1 and Daley 4-1) I think it works out at like 44-1 if you back it at a double. Post by: creepy_benji on January 02, 2010, 08:02:44 PM Yeah Hazeletts ground game is is amazing from what I've seen, but Daley is a strong guy and stuffed a few of Jake Shields takedowns if I remember correct and everyone knows he has great striking so it really could go either way, and with Hazelett not fighting for 14 months after his injury who knows if he will have some ring rust or not and Daley has got a lot of momentum behind him coming into this fight.
That being said Daley missed weight by 1lb and NSAC wouldn't let him try lose the extra 1lb because he was looking pretty weak apparently, its now at a 172lb catch weight, pretty interesting stuff. Small bet perhaps. 44-1 is too big of a price I think, to say these guys have both beat quality opponents and have huge KO %'s. Surely around 20-25-1 max....thats my thoughts anyway.
