Best team went through. The players lost their heads, oh well. Now it's a question of who can we keep.
Poyet obviously the most important, but looking unlikely given his comments after the game.
Bridge will surely go to a prem league team next season, Lopez and Bridcutt likely to leave as well i would have thought and possibly Buckley?
Think you really need to try and keep Upson.  If we did win the final i would love for us to sign him, been very impressed with him at Brighton.

Poyet is not the most important, that is tony bloom.

Poyet attitude is really a disgrace, one of the biggest budgets in the league and moans! Would love to have Di Matteo.

Our fitness levels really let us down and for the second time since 1991 I left before the final whistle.

Final could be a nice open contest I think! Not really that fussed who wins as palarse games distract our season.

I think the window of opportunity for this squad is very close to being shut.

Must be the oldest starting XI in the whole of the 4 leagues.

None of the back 4 + keeper are under 30.

Bridcutt almost certain to leave, he's more than earned his chance in the Premier League. Maybe Buckley too.

Kuzsczak, Orlandi and Ulloa is a very good start to building a promotion winning team, but as Poyet is going to leave sooner or later - maybe let him go now and let someone else do the rebuilding job?

I think Buckley has been a shadow of his early season self in recent weeks.

Carrying an injury surely?

Buckley been shit since January. Last couple games at the end of season he was alright though.

Bridcutt will go to villa or Everton, would be for around £7 million so will fund 60% of our wages. Upson and bridge are premier league players. No chance of them joining champ unless someone is going to pay £40k a week for them which can't happen under fpp.

Hopefully someone comes in for gus to get a couple of mill in compo, then Di Matteo, Rößler, can take over. Fed up with his moaning and constant talk of how he will leave one day.

Lopez prob go wherever poyet goes he's too lightweight for the championship. Would be a great signing for Swansea.

At least we have qpr v Brighton to look forward to Smiley

Once , but not now IMO

Bridge is 33 and has no pace.
Upson is 34 , and tbh if he can't get in the Stoke team then he is not going to get in any other.

Edit...........misread your post, thought you were implying they were Premier quality.   Sorry.

Wouldn't be shocked if Bridge stayed at Brighton.

He's had a career earning about 100k per week, must have plenty locked up in the bank to keep even a Saturday happy.

Maybe if he loves it on the south coast he'll decide to take a huge pay cut and stay.

He certainly looks happier now than he ever did while playing for Citeh or West Ham.

But then again if you had Frankie Sandford keeping the bed warm if you were out late one night you'd be happy playing for Stockport County.

"Buckley been shit since January"

He went missing for us for months as well.  Problem is poor old scout sees him in a purple patch and manager ends up paying a million for him.  We were very happy with the fee we got for him as I mentioned back in the day, but I think he started like a rocket for Brighton.

Lucky John Terry shagged his last bird, he'd never have got a sympathy shag from Frankie otherwise.

Fancy a match report with a difference?  This is an incredible piece of work from a Huddersfield Town fan.

I remember, many years ago, a series of Fulham cartoon match reports which were incredibly funny.  This is on a par with them.

Am thinking now they might have been Man City reports, not Fulham.

One for a game at Crewe sticks in the memory.  Anyone else remember these?

Bridge is 33 and has no pace.

He looks quicker for us than he's ever looked in the past.

Think Bridge might well stay, as has been said he can go rot on a bench for 2 more years getting maybe £2m a year or he can play football everyweek, be the star of the team but only make £500k. With a wife who's also going to be earning millions i think its a no brainer.
