I regret to announce that Mel passed away earlier today.
She had numerous health issues over the last few years and was awaiting a liver transplant.
Mel was always a bubbly person a great fun to be around.
At the poker table either as a player or dealer it was always fun.
RIP Mel
Thoughts go out to Declan & her Mum.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

This is very sad - Mel would have been no age at all.

Gutted to say the least. First met Mel at a blonde bash and had a great time with Mel, Ginger and Fran. Bumped into her many times around the UK when she was dealing at various comps. Always a joy.
RIP lady.

RIP Mel, the poker community will be a lesser place without you. That infectious laugh and always a twinkle in your eye, oh the laughs we had.

Such terrible news, a really lovely girl with a great sense of humour that brightened the mood when she was around.
