Alex Goulder runs good you say.

He raises UTG

Noel Broadbent in the big blind thinks he has got a walk, having not noticed, and flips over Q-Q...which is a pass.

Tommy Bingham opens A-J from 110,000

Tom Langley, playing super aggro, 3 bets small

Bingham shoves

Langley calls with A-K, flops a King and knocks Bingham out

Langley over 400,000, so an effective treble up in the first hour of play today

With a table break, one table line up now reads

2 Vinson
3 Jenkinson
5 Langley

with Chris Bruce round the back, he whispers to me "Is this a tough table?" I reply that it probably is on the aggro side, and he nods, wearily. Not finding it easy it seems!

Thomas Dunwoodie knocks out Michael Anderson

Anderson bet-shoves with an under average stack and K-Q, Dunwoodie having three bet A-Q in position

6-4-2-7-4 consolidates a comfortable position for Dunwoodie

Earlier Anderson open shoved two black aces, and was reshoved on by David Dring, with two red Aces

Anderson turned four to the spade flush, but missed the river for the double he needed to get into contention

David L'Honore raises in early position and gets two callers including Latif Patel in the big blind

 7d Kh Qh

the small blind checls

Patel bets 25,000 and then, inexplicably thinking both his opponents have passed, shows the  Kd

"Ruling" which is that the hand continues as normal, all options open

L'Honore calls

2d turn

Patel 25,000

L'Honore calls

8h. Now that's a nice card

Patel checks

L'Honore 122,000

Patel......

has David got the flush?

Do you represent it even if you don't have it?

Patel calls

Who wins the hand?

Update on Brian Harland please Rich

due to play his next hand at 5.24pm

to be fair to him, he's on an aggro table with a well under average stack and no chips to waste

Very good short-stacked player, I think

Gordon Goodall, very short-stacked after losing a pot to Robert Heywood..finds Aces in the blinds to a shove from Brian Harland with K-Q

He hold, doubles and Harland within a cvouple of hands is himself in the blinds with 10,000 only behind at 10-20k

Nikita Nikolovs raises, Harland throws it in with 8-4 and is live against A-10

2-J-2-5-10 knocks Brian Harland out 20th for £1500

In six levels today we have lost 43 of the 62 starters and have 19 left

recent exits

20    Brian Harland
21    Jonathan Kalmar
22    Mohammed Ashfaq

24    Tom Langley

I believe, though this is second hand, that Nikolovs knocked out Kalmar AQ<AK all in pre, Skalie the shover

So after an hour of mostly snug play Thomas Dunwoodie knocks out Sandeep Phull and we lose a player

Dunwoodie had just doubled up Smith and raised Qh 5h the next hand

Shortstack Phull shoved 9-9 in the big blind

375,000 more to call, just over pot

Heart on the flop, runner runner hearts turn and river and Phull sloped off to the cash desk £2500 better off, but dreaming of what might have been

Congratulations Robert H and thank you DTD for a fantastic tournament structure. I've played it twice and cashed twice... obviously this time a little above my expectations.

I had a great time and had gained a lot more experience. For example, During Day 1c for a few hours I was on a table with Julian Thew, Roberto Romano and Paul Zimbler - scary stuff for a novice in comparison.

I'm looking forward to watching the footage of the final table when its uploaded.  Thank you Tighty for giving my friends and family the opportunity of now calling me "Scooby Doo on speed"... a quote, I believe, from your commentary :o)

Perhaps I could also be cheeky and ask if an entry to Monte Carlo could be extended to me too - as it was said it went to who 'lasts longest' and you can't last longer than head's up!!
