Is this considered the softest EPT, out of interest?

I would say say by quite some distance, yes. But it doesn't get the runners that Barcelona/Prague etc get. 600/700 compared to 900/1000.

Ty, I expected so.

If I ever run my steps up to play the €2100 players choice again, this would be my choice then. :)

I agree with the blog but surely PokerStars can't be happy about him calling their customers "dickheads"?! Seemed pretty extreme, something I would think but not say.

Wouldn't call the article "thought provoking" tighty, more like he just set out to cause maximum insult and embarrassment to those who played.

I do agree with him though!

Pointless running the event if 25% of the entrants are men.

Why didn't they simply charge women €200 and men €1000 a la WSOP?

French law doesn't allow it. Agree with camel- no point in running it

Yeah they ARE dicks. Well said imo. Anything than can encourage more women to play in what can be a quite hostile male environment is definitely good. Hope they all run like shit from now on.

Dont forget the 18yr old who decided to enter the Seniors tournament 2 days after his birthday due to similar discrimination laws.
He must be so proud of himself

I do wonder if this is some cultural thing in France (not the seniors thing, obviously). While it's obviously different in poker, when we have ladies day at the races it doesn't exclusively mean you have to be female to attend. It's an excuse to dress up, have a great day with your pals, and enjoy the sport.

What do you think is softer, in general, a women's event or a senior's event?
