Just another point as you also agree but a lot of guys are in the same situation. £500 is a bit steep to ante up but when the deepstack was £300 then that was a sum people could justify finding if they did not win a seat. Dtd have possibly given players too much of an out this weekend by offering the £150 too. The degen in us lets us play if we don't win a seat to the £500 and we make ourselves feel better by saying the value in both comps is very similar. £500 buy for £100k pot = £150 buy for £30k pot. I expect a lot of people exiting the £500 to play the £150 but I can't see that many people playing the £500  that don't win a seat. Seems pretty much common sense to see especially after the turn outs of the last two weeks £500 comps

since typing that I've busted the feeder when Jimijimi77 (who he?) decided that having raise called K9o pre once and then folded on the flop he would just raise call my jam for all his chips with it the very next hand. Same cards two hands in a row - 'it's a sign'...
needless to say my wasn't enough on a Xc x flop...

I only have one more evening free for satellites and I may think about selling half of the £500 if I miss out on the satellite seats tonight/tomorrow.

lol. Yeah Colin is a character too. Always taps his gut and says it never let's him down when he goes with it. He's called me down a load of times to hit some miracle river, but he is a decent chap and won the deepstack twice so you gotte respect that.

40 minute clock

festival structure http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/tournamentstructure.php

20 minute break after 3 levels (guess)

6.30pm = end of 250-500/50 start of 300-600/50 level 6/7

Meh. Lose a flip for 10% of the chips in play with 18 left. AK v 99 of Tom Walster. Door card Ace slowly slides the flop out and a 9 is also there. Jack informs us he folded a 9 before the king turn to bring a small ray of hope then a dirty blank river. Tom offered a hand shake which I gladly accepted. Never getting away from that hand when average stack was 10 bigs Smiley

Looks like the £150 on Saturday now.
