It's taken 3 days and over 25 hours of play, and I think even tikay bent his ear during one the breaks, but finally it's back, the Trevor Reardon patented inverted chair playing position. And look at him go, he's loving it! Have you ever seen a player adopt this position before, quite remarkable?! What next, the double-stacked inverter?!

Massive pot goes the way of Billy Defty. With table chip daddy David Anderson making a standard preflop raise with , Billy Defty repopped him from the big blind with and Anderson made the call. Not the worst of flops, as the board came Two Diamonds to give Defty middle set and Anderson top pair. Defty led out for 20,000, Anderson made it 60,000 and Defty pushed, for what rumour has it was an additional 70,000 (or thereabouts). Knowing he was up excrement creek without a paddle, but was unable to make the fold. The turn teased a split pot, but to no avail as the blanked out and saw the pot sail over to Port Defty.

I love this photo for three reasons. One, Will Fry getting the sneakiest of peeks in the background, two, Defty's look of sheer confidence as Anderson mulls, and finally, John Burke's model like pose as he detects the glare of the camera.

Like animals getting onto the Ark, sets are coming in twos for Billy Defty. He bet 50k on the river of a three clubs board against Luke McMillan who made the call with only to see a defty for...erm...Defty.

Speaking of Billy Defty, I managed to catch up with him during the break, and prior to that mammoth double through. This is what he had to say:

And of course, with 19 players remaining, it is indeed bubble time.

Double up for David Anderson against Billy Defty, Aces against Kings all-in preflop.

A board later and Anderson is back up to 289k.

Boredom has even set in with Cristiano Blanco who is playing Backgammon on his phone.

"And losing to the computer!" he said. "F**k my life."

The FML bit might not be true.

The bubble has burst, and it's Mark Wilson who will be vomiting in the toilet and hurtling down the motorway at 100 miles per hour. It was a relatively straight forward affair in the end, Wilson open shoving from latish position for around 40,000 with before being picked off by John Eames one seat along with . The three diamonds board was of no use, and an understandably devastated Wilson was gone.

Meanwhile, several players have chopped the £300 side event, taking £5,000 each and leaving £1,600 and the trophy to play for. Among those remaining were Marcus Bebb-Jones, Greek Jack, and Wade.
