Yeah love the structures, shame that grosvenor do t try and put on a bigger comp to rival dtd! I didn't make it in the end, good to hear the old man had a good run Marky !

My old man is playing on Saturday afternoon.
I'm donating my £200 to the local pub on Saturday night.
Only 1/2 hour up road for me, if anyone wants to grab lunch or something, though.
I'll be playing then too! Probably late regging around 6 I think! That's the plan. Come play instead, much better place to lose £200, and no headache Sunday morning!

Hey Ragz.
about 5 years ago when I was playing online I ad a big stretch of significant $ under EV. This was basically run good in small samples at biggest stakes yadayadayada but man did it effect my mentality so so badly. Was chatting 1 day with Gavz who said he turned his ev off his hem for over a year and was best thing he ever did.
I did the same and honestly it was amazing I effectively just disregarded it as a metric for 14 months (eventually succumbed after a run good period at 25/50 wanted to see how + I was lol)
If it affects your mindset as bad as it did mine, and no offence but it certainly seems too, in all your posts it'mostly about how under EV you are, obviously you've not been lucky but you have spent a lot of time on the EV moan and I'm sure you could have spent that time in a more profitable and effective way.
I propose this to You,
Pick a charity, I'll donate £500 if you go 3 whole months of decent volume without looking at the EV, but if you succumb you have to donate £50 every time you look.
Could be a game changer!
What a lovely offer Dave, you are a top man. i agree, just hope his mrs doesnt see this then realise she got a package deal to benidorm for their honeymoon instead of 2 weeks in the maldives!

So we played 31 tournaments across the series, cashing 8 times. We cashed 2 of the 4 biggest tournaments on the schedule, the $22’s.
Total returns = $238.95
A marginal loss.
Will send the $71.69 back across tonight Verndog.
Thanks for the backing. I am going to try and do a fair few of these across the year depending on the different series running and time available. I really enjoyed playing this series. Will definitely look at SCOOPS, TCOOPS etc plus some Party stuff. Full APAT WCOAP schedule, goliath etc. so lots of sweat potentials.
Good effort mate! Defo interested when you sell next time.

Hi all, im off to Disneyland tomorrow and therefore cannot play online today. However as it is the winter series main, id still love a sweat!
Am happy to put 3/4 people into the $22 main event at 50/50 split after stake back (i think thats fair isnt it?)
I know people have done this before, and I took advantage of it, without success but thought it would be cool for blond to have a sweat thread going! Would want some hand updates on here to the sweat!
Comment stars username and I can send this afternoon!

Fred needs to get back on the osses. Too much knowledge ITT to waste a grand national. The Welsh iteration was moved back 10 days, owing to the poor weather after Christmas. This does help those horses that had had a run shortly before, giving them extra rest. But there's one I like despite that... The horse I have in mind has run 4 times at Chepstow, all over 23.5 furlongs, finishing 2/8 (GS), 2/8 (Hvy), 2/16 (Gd) and 12/14 (Gd). Since that last run on 3 December, Nigel Twiston-Davies switched him to hurdles to protect his handicap mark of 137 for this race. The horse won both hurdle races. Won 3 times on heavy ground and only one fall and one UR in its 26 races under rules. 14th in the weights, carrying just 10st 12. The horse is 25/1. It was 33s in the week, but 25/1 can't be bad still. Hard to have a bad bet when getting 4 places 1/4. Recommend £20ew on Buckhorn Timothy with Billy Mountains. Click to see full-size image. |
Had a look at this on shybet, and they are paying top 6 places each way, at 1/5 of he odds. Bt only 22/1 for this horse. Top 6 though seems really good Think?
