Was just getting it in vs everyone apart from the nits over 10bb's. It was a $2r and everyone was playing hideously tight.

I pretty much jam or fold everything when that short.  I would have said your raise with aces was too obvious when I read it earlier, and did think yuck.  Then you have done a similar thing with , so it isn't as obvious as I thought.  In the example, I wouldn't be happy in villain's shoes, as it looks ridiculously strong, but maybe $2 rebuy opponents aren't going to be thinking too deep, so isn't worth doing there.

I think the fold equity must be worth more than the deception in the $2 game.  Given the way I'd be thinking in the hand, it is hard to say what you did is wrong though.

The guy was a fish that 3x'd his stronger hands and 2x'd all the time to fold to a jam. Obviously I don't want him to fold. I said to James on skype when the BTN opened "Sigh this is gonna get through".

It's not obvious to him, hence why he called.
