Yea I bin following the thread too. For me it's the level of malice behind words which make them offensive. You can tell Dan has integrity so I see these words as comedy. It's like that saying guns don't kill people, people do. A word is only a weapon of offence if it's used with intent imo. It's like that fuss about choice of words when Reginald D Hunter did his stand-up routine at the PFA.
Anyway, what about cabbage

Mantis of course a word is only offensive in how its intended , I call myself a cripple, but if some random called me a crippled b**d or such like he will be more crippled than me. On a forum its so hard to tell intent, I would steer clear of using such terms

It's nothing to do with being pc, its about respect, or lack of it.
I can't believe grown men still use words to describe people that we used to use at school, when we didn't know any better.

1/5. Table full of mongs who peel and 3x fold and stuff.
Do me a favour Dan, please Gets my goat to hear people described as mongs, retards, window lickers etc etc I'm not alone in that, but people don't like to speak up about it Good luck, I follow the thread and urge you on as would like you to do well, but call the fellas something else please Suggestions ? is there a politically correct format or wording for people we believe are stupid beyond belief or act in a way that detracts from common sense? Doing a 'Celtic' seems fitting.

I had this come up in one of my staking threads. I was stupid at the time and at no point in my life would I consider myself to be a spiteful person taking the mick out of people with disability's, have since apologized for this matter, but still some on the forum that can't bring themselves to talk to me because of it, or don't believe my apology etc.
Now I just use this, much more fitting for how your emotions are at the time IMO :

Stato tells me that there are six extremely offensive 9-letter words there, I demand another apology.
