So you're buying 40% yourself and 10% for £55 buys 10% of whatever prize you get?

That's fine. You're not selling at face value though, you're charging a premium. Some people may still wish to buy a chunk but I'll pass as the premium is a bit hefty.

Your wanting full staking for 40% of profits after stakeback! So thats not selling at face value! Say if you payed 40% of the buy in yourself and then sold 6 x 10% chunks for £55 then thats selling at face value! The way you are doing it is not wrong but its selling at a premium which might deter some interest! GL in the event!

Tank's said what I was thinking when I first saw it. If you're planning on playing it anyway, why not sell 50% at face value and put up the other 50% yourself?

Give Paul some slack.
He's a good player who's made an effort to put together a decent proposal. Will sort it with him on msn.

Staking for one off competitions and long term deals over multiple competitions work slightly differently. The more competitions the staking deal involves, the greater the value of the after stakeback part of the deal for the staker. If it's just for one comp though, there isn't much value at all for the staker.
For one off stakeaments, it's tough to obtain 100% of the stake money and still get paid a decent amount yourself. Putting up some of the money yourself and either selling at face value or charging a small premium is usually the way forward.
