Surely you're calling to split at best. Fold.

I have to say I hate your play on the turn...he bets into you and you have top pair with top kicker but don't try to find out if he actually has a J ? Reraise every time on the turn.

depending on the mood I'm in I either call or fold this in an MTT but the turn play is what caused you the problem..not his overbet on the river.

Hmmm time for sharkscope, given the level and that he seems good, this is a fold. He is employing zeebo theroem, which is to overbet the pot on the end with the stone cold nuts, when his opponent is likely to have a very strong hand as well, which they might flat call with.

Now everyone call me a nit if they like but i might chuck this preflop, there is no need to get involved with hand like this early in sng's

In my experience this type of bet on the river is almost always the nuts

I never knew it had a name, works really well though!

what a mess, preflop or turn are the crucial points
such a sick pass has to be made, unless you put him on  Aspades Ks

I believe its name originates from a poster on 2+2 who wrote at length about it on a post on there, often employed on boards like 3456x rainbow where hero is holding 87 and knows villan can't fold a 7 no matter how big the bet. It an excellent theroem and is very profitable.

Otherwise known as "the move of honour"

I have to say I hate your play on the turn...he bets into you and you have top pair with top kicker but don't try to find out if he actually has a J ? Reraise every time on the turn.

lol, so pointless to raise the turn.

lol@ the move of honour bit...why though Flush? I ussually do this to take the pot there and then and (and I know the curse of flushy be upon me for saying it) find out where I am.

because worse hands fold and better hands stay and play?

If you call turn and reassess/call river then you get more chips from worse hands and keep the pot as small as possible against better hands.

Dont like your call of 150 pre flop.
Id limp in the early stages of a turbo sng with AQ and fold to a raise.

I think this is an easy fold. He has Aces or Kings in my opinion, and thinks you have Ace Queen.

Id be suprised if he'd made it 150 pre flop as a TA with a Jack in his hand at this level.

Fold for me.

Split at best, and thats a small chance imo.
