depending on the mood I'm in I either call or fold this in an MTT but the turn play is what caused you the problem..not his overbet on the river. Title: Re: Overbet on river... He is employing zeebo theroem, which is to overbet the pot on the end with the stone cold nuts, when his opponent is likely to have a very strong hand as well, which they might flat call with.

I believe its name originates from a poster on 2+2 who wrote at length about it on a post on there, often employed on boards like 3456x rainbow where hero is holding 87 and knows villan can't fold a 7 no matter how big the bet. I ussually do this to take the pot there and then and (and I know the curse of flushy be upon me for saying it) find out where I am. Title: Re: Overbet on river... Id limp in the early stages of a turbo sng with AQ and fold to a raise. I think this is an easy fold. He has Aces or Kings in my opinion, and thinks you have Ace Queen. Id be suprised if he'd made it 150 pre flop as a TA with a Jack in his hand at this level. Title: Re: Overbet on river...
