Line is fine imo. 3 chances to win; opponent pre flop fold, opponent fold to our c-bet or we can even occasionaly connect with a flop.

Calling pre is ok too, if we think opponent is raising wide enough that we are happy to check call post when limper folds and it's heads up but we miss.

Maybe it's the c bet size? I'm way more likely to shove on someone betting 58% than someone betting 65%-75% ish.

Yeh was thinking this myself. Although I would probably size it the same to induce so spose I need to generally up my c bet size

good stuff

AK high might be good were my thoughts. IP we could get a cheap showdown. Usually I'd fire on turn if he checks but against described opponent I'd check behind and snap on river.

dont c bet the flop when you have to fold to the shove - ie with shallow stacks

poker gods will reward you with a K on the turn

call or fold in hand 1 after you check OOP and villain bets?

Ha ha. I always think this when I have to lay AK down.

I think we need to be more positive and spose they had da nuts and we actually made the correct laydown.

Why such big raises pre?

I know Hand 1 is a reraise but Hand 2 you've only got 1 limper and I'd expect you to be making 2.4-2.5x plus a small bit for the limper, not 4x

I'm not criticising the bet, just looking for clarity - the bets here don't match the pattern you were playing in that Friday Night tourney you posted on APAT
