Yeah, that is a good bar. Think it's 'Times Square Duelling Piano Bar', or something similar.

Yep that's the one. I quite like the duelling pianos but not really Mr Russell's bag.
Had a $50 MyVegas credit so he was in, but then realise it only covers the cover charge at night so he was out.
Realised we could use it at happy hour, no cover charge, he was in. Then realised it was blacked out all over thanks giving. So we were out.
I mean $50 makes all the difference when your averaging $100 a hand at blackjack for 5 hours a day!

Incred! He'd fit in great with a lot of peeps from over the pond.
Do a couple grand at blackjack, no bother. Then go miles out of the way because you can save a fiver on dinner

Sorry if I missed this, but are there no direct flights from Manchester any more?
Mitchell!
There are still direct flights from Manchester but they now refer to it as a summer service, not sure if that is different to last year.
Flights showing as available April onwards.
Good news. Thankyou, Stuart!

There from 25th June to 2nd July with Eccles. Not booked hotel yet but almost definitely going to be NYNY.
Probably have to find Marky for a few beers as some point.

Top bombing!
I'm planning to be at Rio first few days you're there. Moving on the 28th to either Paris or Wynn, I think.
Definitely up for a few beverages while you're there. Have scooter. Will drive (and drink)

Considering going on May 27th for a week to play the Omaha hi lo and the super fast bounty hunter...if I was to take my other half what would be a decent hotel to stay in (near to the Rio) with my wife that would have a pool that she could relax round in the day on the days I was playing poker and is the weather good enough that time of year.
The idea would be poker on the Thursday and following Tuesday unless I progress on the Thursday and experience Vegas on the other days - never been before so not really sure what to expect.

They're almost all a quick Uber/Cab away from the Rio, and most of the pools are decent enough.
I don't mind spending a bit on a room, as I generally do some work while I'm there, and chill out a bit in the room during most days.
Weather is plenty good enough at that time of year, and just geting into the real summer heat.
I'll have a look at some prices for you for those 7 days, and packages are always a good option if you're not going to be doing any gambling. If I know I'm not going to be doing any gambling, I generally look to book through one. However, given you can almost always instigate futures offers off not a huge amount of play, direct is always worth considering.
If you're only going to be playing poker a couple days, I would suggest somewhere on the strip is your best bet, and that way you're right amongst the action on the days you're not at the Rio.

Thoughts on how corona-virus might affect Vegas this summer?
Numbers are bound to be down, even this far out we can see that Asian visitors are likely do be much lower than usual. Europeans might have a problem too.
Could be a shocker for the Vegas economy, but that will mean, presumably, room rates will fall?

Given today's announcement next door are you booked yet or waiting for the room price crash?

Apologies as this is probably asked every year, but does anyone know when other casinos announce their events for the WSOP period?
