i am selling 30% for the €10,400 WSOPE main event in cannes next week @ 1.2 i believe that whilst the buy in is quite steep the location and brand name should help to make this tournament one of the best value comps of the year. this is the first time the event will be held outside of london, a move made apparently to accommodate increased numbers. so whilst last year's event only fielded 346 entrants, this year should hopefully be a decent amount bigger. the partouche poker tour €8.5k main event was recently held in the same casino as this comp and reached 579 runners. i have never been to cannes before but i am reliably informed by many friends that the standard of poker is very typically frenchy/fishy which i am very comfortable playing versus haha :D i play mid/highstakes online mtt everyday and think my game is constantly improving all the time. i have played several WSOP/EPTs events now and will be unfazed by the occasion. i have also cashed 2 out of 3 WSOP main events which use the exact same structure as for this event (30k on 2hr levels) my hendon mob: http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=102688 (doesn't yet include my ept london side event win from this week \end brag lol) online: see graph 1% min chunks plz so 1% = €125, 2% = €250, 5% = €625 etc payment can be made to nigdawg on stars/bank xfer/live euros think that covers everything but lmk if not Title: Re: NigDawG WSOPE Post by: tikay on October 07, 2011, 05:11:00 PM Been waiting for this particular one for a while, though you'd never Post..... 5% please, payment by Bank TX as soon as you send me the details. started the day alright peaking at 110k pretty much without showdown but then lost a 210k pot @ 500/1k level vs the table whale :( not too proud of the hand but i had my reasons and it was quite opponent specific. not sure i should post it since in isolation it will seem a lot worse than what it actually is lol. it left me with 6bb which was obviously devastating but i doubled up a couple times and managed to get back up to 40bb which saw me through till i busted mid way through the 800/1600 level TT<AQ 90k pot :( i was card dead all day which is frustrating in itself but also feel the opposition was very weak considering the buy in. sorry everyone :( Title: Re: NigDawG WSOPE Post by: tikay on October 17, 2011, 11:55:47 PM Ul Chris, these things happen, & no complaints here.
