There was some discussion last year as to how team was to be selected
last year i think it was mods appoint captain and captain picks team
in previous years mtt league was run
of course team could just be picked out hat

what does every body think how should team be selected assuming more than 8 confirm interest ?

Selected my Mods imo. Or Mods pick captain who picks team.

Unless Tightly is going to select it of course.

I've actually sent Tighty a message asking him if he's ok with myself being captain ( going off the posts I'll assume most will be happy)

If/when that is sorted out, I'll want to get the team sorted asap, as I have to have all the money in advance, and to pay the team in online in advance. This is all assuming we get a place of course ( which shouldn't be an issue)

I am not sure if I am required to do anything here, but happy to endorse amcgrath1 as captain and to select the team from those interested

the captain has to collect the cash etc this year, so its a bit more onerous. If Asa wants it, seems ok for him to do it to me

Dont think so. Leave it all up to Asa as captain. Whoever is captain needs to let me know as I need to change the contact details with APAT, as I put the request in.

Think we get told which teams have a place after 15th December, but will check.

ETA/ Just checked. Teams are due to be announced by Friday 20th December. All monies have to be collected by the captain (£55pp) and sent to APAT by 12.00pm Friday 17th January 2014. Shirts then need to be arranged, but APAT will do this for £15 per shirt.

Think it's good to let Asa pick the team, as he has to organise it and collect the money etc. I'm happy to help with the selections too, if needed.
