Talking of Afternoon Tea, this was Gill's home-made version at the weekend. Have to say, if we lived together I'd pretty soon be 20 stone.
The scones were home-made, too. Delish. Proper pot of tea, china cups & everything.

Well you say that, but I'm in a shocking state with flu, cold, & all sorts, & nobody cares.

At least you have someone to "not care" about you. Imagine if you had no one to ignore you.
Get well soon.

I can't work out if that's cake or sarnies on the spotted plate.
PS- I'm sure Philip Morris hopes you get well soon.

Doorstep sarnies with the crusts cut off, like what posh people have. Bloody lovely they were, too.
Real clotted cream with the scones, too.

Not sure I'd eat the hot dogs with so much mustard on that you can't see the sausage. They look like they'd blow your head off. Did you lose some teeth too?

Passion fruit topped eclairs, them. Not sure I'm mad keen on passion fruit, mind, sounds foreign.

Me neither, much prefer them like this although i wouldn't be adverse to a passion fruit topping either.

Shirley might leave them in but i don't. Let the tea brew for a gd while then pour the first cups of tea and then remove bags, prevents the tea in the pot from stewing and tasting bitter.

It's a little Cafe that has mismatched furniture, pared back decor etc. Sort of a hipster-ish place so the yellow teapot isn't out of place. Food is excellent though.Would deffo recommend the place.

Well judging by the fact that he needs the crusts of his bread..
