Abs bullshit really,wasn't paying much attention as it was a joke but a mixture of will power and probability was one reason,then at the end of the show he said the other way he "didn't" do it was he "didn't" hypnotize the security guards and he "didn't" put 6 wieghted balls in the machine.

If you look closely at the screen you see a man run on and switch the balls just as the bonus is being drawn. I almost missed him at first cos he was wearing dark clothing and a cap pulled down. But luckily I have sky+ so could rewind and catch him in the act.

I missed the dark clothed fella but spotted this one on my sky+ Smiley

He is going to "controll the nation" next;

Making people stick to their seats

http://uk.tv.yahoo.com/blog/article/250712/

But; ""If their TV breaks or I died suddenly, after a few minutes people will be able to stand up again. It's safe and it won't work on everybody"

OK, so no doubt there will be some people who come up on Saturday and say "I really got stuck to my chair!"..."I just couldn't get up!"...

obv, nothing to do with the telly being on and them having a few pies in their hand at the time.

Sticking people to the sofa is a piece of piss ... Jane can do it, I can do it ... any parent in the land can do it.

All you have to do is say "Kids, the washing up needs doing"  Kids, its bed time" Kids can you give me a hand with this"

Any of the above, + countless other lines, will render the subject velcroed to the sofa.

Yeah, it would be a better trick if Derren Brown got people out of the chair instead. The only way really is to put the remote just out of reach. Even then most people would put up with watching Songs of Praise while they figured out a way to get the remote without moving.

This Friday at 9pm on Channel 4, Derren Brown is supposedly performing a mind control exercise that will keep the nation glued to their seats for the duration of the programme.

Just for a laugh, I'm going to put my chip pan on at about 8:59 and then leave it for an hour.

Derren, if you're reading this, you better have some bloody good lawyers.
