Will be travelling up as normal on the Friday and notice you have 2 day ones running at both 13:00 & 17:00 that day.  Is it possible to reg and play in both?  Obv if you bust the 1st its no issue but if you have a good run in the 1st what time do you expect it to finish.  Never tried multi tabling live!

You can't multi table live however you can play the 1pm and then if you get knocked out register for the 5pm, there is late reg on each so long registration time.

You play down to top 10% so can't say what time it will finish.

just thinking about it, i wonder what the biggest stacks will be going into day2? if it wasnt 'play down to 10%' im sure we'd have alot of merging going on.
ive yet to really try for a golden chip only played perhaps 4 times. im looking to try today and get myself a golden chip.
am i right in thinking golden chips are not being allowed for cash in this time?

Think of the Golden Chip as being a piece of added value on a satellite Ross.
From past experience direct buy in will be available closer to the date and satellites will continue to run even when the 1000 Golden Chips have gone.

The number of players with multiple golden chips means that there will inevitably be some who get through before they have used all their chips. They will have to attempt to merge. The 10% rule makes it unlikely they will succeed, but who knows.

Given the extent of the added value it seems shortsighted to just flick in the £60 to play the GP and ignore the potential opportunity to a) qualify for £1 and b) effectively double the value of winning the tournament.
And how are you gonna feel if you come 2nd and then have to watch the guys in 5th-8th jet off to the Caribbean...

Deffo no cashing of chips due to the merging rule - bagged two early on but not really bothered too much since then - I would ideally like four to play 2 live and 2 online but it does become expensive chasing them

If DTD still have 250 Golden Chips to shift in the next fortnight then I think it'll be time to put on hourly satellites..... The Golden Chips needs to clear up a bit quicker IMHO. When they've cleared up then I think it might be wise to put on several £12 satellites at night.

2 tries yesterday both got buy ins back. 2nd when needed 1st and 5th when needed 3rd- giving up time???

What I meant was, if there are 250 to be shifted with 4 weeks to go (in 2 weeks time) - I think it would be best to put on hourly satellites, sorry to confuse you.
