With the blinds at 100/200, a couple of thousand have made their way into a threeway pot on Dave Colclough's table - he's one of the players in it, along with Ian Nelson, who bet out 700 when the board read:  .  Dave called and the other player folded, making the pot around 4k.  On the river, Ian checked, and after a brief think Dave checked behind - good that he did because Ian held .  Nik Persaud muttered something about how he wished people with flushes would check to him too.

Booder is referring to a thread in General Discussion, where a certain very polite helpful member of blonde finds coloured text annoying.

Greg Amolis, pictured below, is now OUT.

He lost out with Kings versus Iwan Jones' Sevens on a rather discomforting 3-4-6-5-8 board.

Just before that scoop, Iwan Jones won a nice pot off WSOP bracelet winner, John Gale.

Board =

Iwan checks, John bets 9,050 and Iwan makes it 3,100.

John calls and they both check the scary River.

John has top two pair with , but Iwan takes the pot with a straight, .

John Gale, however, is still riding high with around 26-28k

Nick 'dino' Wright is OUT - he was on a reasonable 8,500ish, when there was a preflop raise to 900 after one limper.  He called on the button with .
Flop:  Two Clubs.  The raiser bet out 2k, Nick raised to 5k, expecting a fold or an all-in... instead, a smooth call.
Turn:  A Club.  The raiser pushed the last 4k in, and Nick, although covered, "didn't have the mental strength to climb back from 3,000" and called.  His opponent had the and with no pair on the river it was all over.  Not a shameful way to exit his first one of these, however...
