Also, is 2.5x your standard open size from MP? Because if it is, then it shouldn't be. And if you vary based on strength of your hand then you shouldn't do.

fold to the 3bet..
Defo this. Never folding QJ sooooooted even if theres a gun to my head, but it plays fairly badly in 3b pots, especially this deep. Obv we can flop mooooonster draws but thats all we want to flop...

I do not vary my opening sizes based on hand strength. Usually my standard for 6max cash would be 3x from MP. The new Zoom games on stars seemed to be playing reasonably tight so I was trying out 2.5xing, as I play more I might go back to my 'standards' or I might keep opening smaller if I think its better

That is a very good adjustment.
Will be interesting to see how the texture of the Zoom games turns out. I remember when Rush first came out - it turned from a nit-fest to a spazz-fest pretty quickly.

It's super hard for him to show up with air. Guess he's probs got 98s or AK and sighhhhh fold. What did he have when you called?
Also Pleno were you aware of how deep eff stacks were when you said fold QJs to the 3b?

I like/get the reasoning for 2.5x pre, tho I think could be interesting 4xing in Zoom when people are so ridic deep and basing opening sizes purely on stack sizes as they change.
regardless I'd bet turn bigger and fold river pretty quick.
As a random aside, does anyone who posts here know the OP in person? if so can you reply here or shoot me a pm pls. ta
