Great to see you posting again scotty, lost abit of interest in the dogs myself when I went back to work full time. How have you been?
Hey mate. I'm doing alright, thank you. No longer a betting shop manager, but still in love with greyhound racing. Had my biggest bet of the year on Rubys Razzle in the Henlow Gold Cup on Tuesday. How have you been?
I'm cool mate, back working full time so haven't really kept up to date with the hounds, don't really bet that much anymore. What are you doing now?
Back in fashion retail, better money but have to put up with moaning teenage staff.
Friday at Romford, best meeting of the week.

I'm always happy to have more bets at Romford then any other track, and perhaps more marginal bets, because I believe that my track knowledge will see me do well in the long term there. Went down last month and had a great time, highly recommend visiting.
6:36 - T1 Special Story @ 9/2 PP 1pt
6:55 - T6 Ajlo Legalbeagle @ 9/4 b365 2pts

8:21 - T5 Tread Lightly @ 9/4 b365 2pts
9:44 - T1 Jet Stream Snowy @ 11/4 b365 2pts

Regency heats at Hove tonight.
7:16 - T3 Aayamza Breeze 2pts @ Evens WH
8:04 - T4 Dashing Star 1pt @ 6/1 WH
8:19 - T6 Jaytee Patriot 2pts @ 4/5 bet365
Surprised Aayamza Breeze wasn't odds on to be honest, has impressed thus far on these shores going 2 for 2 and he could prove to be one of the best distance dogs this year. Looking back in a few months time could have us scratching our head as to why evens was available. The other shortie, Patriot, is the ante post fave for the comp and should be too classy. Follow Droopys Dart and prove better. Dashing Star is clearly more speculative but bar the fave is probably the most experienced stayer in the race. Could get scrappy and Dashing Star could be the beneficiary.
Well done Scott, 2 nice winners there, neither were ever in doubt.
Just seen my account....2 singles and the double .
Brilliant , thanks Scott

Disappointed that Tread Lightly hasn't won off the front there.

I thought we were in good shape approaching the third bend, but it was not to be.

In the 9.44 Jet Stream left it late but won going away, nice one.
Think that is 2 winners tonight now, with one selection still to run, so we won't end up too bad whatever happens.

I don't follow or have any idea about dogs apart from friends who have contacts who pass on tips sparingly - usually after they've been smashed in from
to odds on. But I am interested in learning and following this thread now its back running
This name did ring a bell though, a friend is the owner, he did post on blonde a while back too
A few questions that may have been discussed before
How much is possible to get on say a 3/1 dog an hour before a race before it gets to evens, on a standard midweek meeting?
Am I right in thinking most shops have a £1000 single max win from their P+L charts? for "Bags" meetings and ~£50 singles for those that's not
What's the average amount matched on a midweek race on betfair, around 50k?
Are there many people who trade dogs for a living now?
Are there known "dodgy" trainers and owners or even tracks?
Is there a governing body like the BHA who runs the sport?
Big jackpots still running? Was it Dubai and co who took bags of money to a track to bet every possible outcome and come away with more bags of money a while back?
Probably best aimed at Arbboy, but interested to hear anyone's insight and good job on those picks so far

Arbboy definitely the man to give you a worthy answer to your questions.
Scottish Derby heats tonight and had a couple of darts.
8:10 - T5 Dorotas Woo Hoo - 1pt @ 2/1 WH
Could prove to be foolish taking on the ante post favourite Buick but T4 is a slight negative for me and should give Dorota all the space.
8:42 - T6 King Kid - 2pts @ 9/4 WH
Potential early pace flyer in T3 but King Kid has excellent middle pace and Shawfield should really suit. Turn handy and prove best.
9:15 - T6 Murrys Act - 1pt @ 9/2 b365
Odds on shot in T2 might not have it all his own way and Murrys looks drawn for a solo. Good all round pace should see him be competitive here.

Loser, but that was impressive from Woo Hoo. Off to check the price for Towcester.
Dabbled at Crayford tonight, it's on RPGTV.
8:50 - T6 Newlawn Donie - 1pt @ 10/3 PP
10:11 - T5 Newlawn Ned - 1pt @ 11/2 PP
10:26 - T5 Droopys Jester - 2pts @ 2/1 b365

Think Woo wins in another few yards, so nearly got up.

What happened to T3?

I never caught what happened in real time but I guess fairly bad from the presenter's tone.
