A new low

I'm not one to get overly emotional about offences against children, it's just another crime same as against an adult for me for the most part, probably because I don't have kids. However, this one really grabbed my attention as especially low, wtf is wrong with people?

This guy was second in command, if you like, for treating my daughter in 2009/10. Didn't like him at the time, hate him more now. Hope he gets what he deserves.
Incredibly, some of the mums of the patients he treated were planning on going to court to support him. I really hope they got proper advice and decided against it in the end.

Wow this is disgraceful. You just don't expect it from someone in such a trusted position.

It's people in trusted postions that have a means to do this kind of thing - we've been seeing that with the paedo scandals of late. They all stem from abuse of power.

Thoughts on this?
As I said above, I know this guy etc.
I knew that this was going to happen. I'm fairly certain that this isn't action that I would take. What would others do?

I'm totally against this litigation culture we have developed in recent years if I'm honest, don't see what a lump of money does to rectify what has happened. If they must do it, it should be against the individual not the hospital imo.
