LeKnave raises to 3,300 from the cut-off. John Sadler in the big blind re-raises to 8,300. LeKnave moves all-in and is quickly called.

LeKnave:
Sadler:

two spades

Sadler wins a 100k+ pot, LeKnave down to about 27k.

With unrelenting self-destruction, the field rids itself of two more in two minutes!

A threeway all-in preflop just saw short stacked Paul Murphy shove pre with , called by Przemek Rusin with , only to find Steve Jelinek shoving behind him - as it turns out, with .  Rusin called covering both players...
Flop:
Turn:
River:

So a bit of a reprieve for Ace-spiking Murphy (top), while Jelinek busts and leaves Rusin about where he started due to the side pot.

THEN

Richard Berridge raises in the cutoff, and Neil Blatchley calls in the big blind.
Flop: three diamonds Two Clubs.  Instantly Neil pushes his remaining 15k into the middle, and waits... Richard Berridge was clearly expecting this, but Neil wasn't expecting him to call with what he had:

Richard:
Neil:

Turn:
River:

"Sorry.  I thought you were pushing the flop thinking I'd missed," said Berridge.
"You had," pointed out a disappointed Neil as he headed, frustrated, from the table.

More chips for Sadler he raises preflop from the small blind and Jonathan Spinks calls from the big blind.

Sadler leads out and Spinks moves in. Sadler calls and shows for the second time in 10 minutes, and Spinks shakes his head showing , no help on the turn three diamonds and river and Sadler must be vying with Nick Hicks for the chip lead.

A truly entertaining Update, that lovely boy LeKnave, the ever wily Nick Hicks, the wet-nosed beagle, plenty of lairy & lovely blondes in the mix, & enlivened by exchanges such as these....

"Sorry.  I thought you were pushing the flop thinking I'd missed," said Berridge.
"You had," pointed out a disappointed Neil as he headed, frustrated, from the table.

Thank you, & keep it coming.

Tom Rutter slows Sadler's run down, like so...

John Sadler raises under the gun to 5,200.  It folds to big blind Tom who makes the call.
Flop:  three diamonds .  Check to Sadler who bets 10k.  Slowly and deliberately Tom calls once again.
Turn:  .  Check to Sadler, who quickly checks behind.
River:    Now Tom bets out just the one 5k chip.  Possibly smelling a rat but unable to restrain the call, Sadler throws in the 5k, only to be told that after the flop the deck "killed the action I think, there," for Tom Rutter's .  John Sadler shows (and mucks) .

I think Tom rues not check/raising that flop, he could well have got it all on the flop, and if the ace didn't come on the turn, he'd have got it all anyway.

Meanwhile, Andrew 'Woodsey' Woods is out in 19th, he moved in on the turn of a Q-8-7-6 board with 5-5 but John Sadler made the call with 9-9 which holds on the Q river.

********* 20 minute break ************

Simon Trumper just gave tickets to the buffet.

On a completely unrelated matter, can I just say what an all-around top guy and outstanding fellow he is.
